Valerie

Although Valerie had a childhood dream of being a singer and was born into a family of artists and musicians, she never really thought she could sing.  She performed in a few musicals and then decided to start taking voice lessons with her daughter’s vocal coaches.  She was hooked from that moment on and will always to thankful to Gina and Ray McCort for helping her find her voice!

Valerie has been in a few different bands and acoustic arrangements over the past few years.  She has become friends with a good number of local musicians and loves collaborating with them.  She enjoys singing a broad range of music from classic rock to modern country and is excited about the unique mix of music that Moonlit Mile has to offer (including a few Zeppelin tunes that Tim persuaded her to sing)!!!

Tim

Tim has been playing music since long ago on and off and now found the time to return to it with some focus.   After moving to Virginia, he discovered the many local wineries and greatly enjoyed the atmosphere, the small acoustic musical acts they had, and of course, the wine.   Seeing those acts motivated him to return to playing in a band.  Tim played many types of music over the years, mellowing over time to be primarily an acoustic player.   The songs he brings to Moonlit Mile are songs he really enjoys and getting Valerie to find her inner Robert Plant was much fun.
